On May, the 13th, the Governor of Poltava Region, Oleg Sinegubov, visited Ferrexpo Yeristovo Mining LLC.
The Head of Poltava Region State Administration was met by General Director of Ferrexpo Yeristovo Mining LLC, Christopher Matthew Soccio, General Director of Ferrexpo Belanovo Mining LLC, Yuriy Khymych, Director of Operations Eduard Shkurin, and Commercial Director Viktor Mishchenko of Ferrexpo Yeristovo Mining LLC, as well as the city leaders of Horishni Plavni.
The site visit began with visiting the centralized dispatch centre located in the Administrative Complex “Gornyak” of Ferrexpo Yeristovo Mining LLC, which main purpose is the operational management of technological processes of both mines – Ferrexpo Poltava and Yeristovo,as well as the remote management of drilling equipment operation, where on numerous monitors one can see the real time operation of the mining equipment, as well as control all the key mining processes.
The guests also visited the Mining Equipment Maintenance and Repair Workshop and Technical Service Station, where the state representatives saw the mining fleet and learnt about the technical maintenance and repair processes of the mining equipment. Many issues were discussed, precisely, technology of the mining process, water discharge from the mine, main principles of the mining equipment operation and others. Eduard Shkurin, Director of Operations of Ferrexpo Yeristovo Mining LLC, and General Director of Ferrexpo Belanovo Mining LLC, Yuriy Khymych, gave the answers to all the questions interested.
After Ferrexpo Yeristovo Mining LLC the Head of Poltava Region State Administration and the guests continued their site visit and went-on to see Ferrexpo Poltava Mining PJSC and other public facilities of the city Horishni Plavni.
