17-18 September 2015, Komsomolsk – the first HR Conference “HR role in changing the business” dedicated to a professional holiday, HR Manager Day, was held by Ferrexpo. More than 90 HR employees of the three Ferrexpo entities – Ferrexpo Poltava Mining (FPM), Ferrexpo Yeristovo Mining (FYM) and Ferrexpo Belanovo Mining (FBM) – took part in this event. The speakers at the conference were Ferrexpo Group HR Director Greg Nortje, Ferrexpo Poltava Mining HR Director Yelena Boychenko as well as ARConsulting business coach, psychologist Andriy Rozhdestvenskiy and Delta Hunt International associate Andriy Gryshchenko. Also, welcoming speech was given by the General Directors of the three Ukrainian-based Ferrexpo entities – Viktor Lotous (FPM), Mykola Goroshko (FYM) and Yuriy Khymych (FBM). The participants discussed the HR strategy in the changing business environment and role of the HR specialists in the company, leadership and recruitment best practices. At the end of the event, the conference participants had a site visit to Ferrexpo Yeristovo Mining and Ferrexpo Poltava Mining. The plan is to hold such events to share the expertise and shape joint strategy at least once a year.
